| Gintare Petronyte scored 32 points as Lithuania notched their second consecutive blowout win at the U20 European Championship for Women - this time with an 81-46 victory over Belarus.
Joining Petronyte in double figures was Saule Kontauitaite with 14 points while Sarune Jasiunskaite added nine points and 10 rebounds for Lithuania, who improved to 2-3 in the Qualifying Round Group F in Sulmona.
The Lithuanian captain Petronyte also collected 19 rebounds after pouring in 31 points and grabbing 12 rebounds in her team's 100-48 win over Montenegro on Wednesday.
Belarus lost their second straight contest and fell to 2-3 in Group F despite 15 points from Natallia Kozun and 10 points from Alena Novikava.
Lithuania pulled ahead 11-2 before Volha Vashkevich's basket brought Belarus to within 11-9. But that was as close as Belarus would get. Rasa Kreivyte's Lithuanians used an 18-2 surge to go ahead 29-11 after one period.
Semen Khalipski's team trailed 38-14 before managing a 10-0 run to make it 38-24 and they trailed 40-26 at the break.
A Kozun three-pointer trimmed the deficit to 42-29 early and it was 44-31 when Petronyte sparked an 11-0 run for a 55-31 lead. And the Lithuanians led 59-36 after three periods.
Belarus could not even make a dent against the Lithuania reserves, who went on a 13-0 streak in the fourth quarter as the advantage grew to 36 points.
