France beat Italy 61-51 on Tuesday to clinch their fourth straight triumph at the U20 European Championship for Women.
Jennifer Digbeu led Les Bleues in scoring with 12 points while team-mate Laetitia Kamba added 11 and pulled down 10 rebounds.
Italy started strong and took a 19-12 advantage early in the second quarter.
France hit back and outscored their opponents 21-6 over the next nine minutes as they went into the break with a 33-25 lead.
The Italians fought hard and gave themselves a chance as they cut the deficit 56-48 with five minutes remaining.
But Digbeu's three-ball proved a hammer blow for the Azzurre who ultimately ran out of steam.
Italy had a woeful shooting night as they were 22 of 69 (31.8%) from the floor while France finished 22 of 52 (42.3%).
The Azzurre were outrebounded 51-33.
